Sandals Resorts International’s (SRI) Chairman, Gordon ‘Butch’ Stewart, greets Prince Harry of Wales with a smile as SRI’s CEO, Adam Stewart, looks on.
Members of Jamaica’s Defense Force welcomed Prince Harry of Wales to the island recently with an honorary 21-gun salute. The Prince visited the island as part of the Diamond Jubilee tour in honor of Queen Elizabeth II as she celebrates 60 years on the throne.
With hype still buzzing in the air about the Prince’s stylish blue suede shoes and epic race with Olympic Gold Medalist, Usain Bolt, he was a hit, to say the least!
The prince, who made earlier stops in the Bahamas and Belize, received a warm welcome from the Jamaican people, as many gathered just to catch a glimpse of Princess Diana’s heir. During his trip to Jamaica, he also stopped off at 18th century plantation house, Good Hope, and visited Sandals Royal Caribbean’s Private Island in Montego Bay for a Jamaica Night soiree held in his honor.
