Aruba All-Inclusive Beach Resort: "Wonderful Honeymoon at the Divi"

We went to the Divi
for our honeymoon in September 2004. This was our first trip to
Aruba. We had been guaranteed an ocean view room and when we first
got there we did not get what I considered to be "ocean-view", so
I complained and then we got a pool/ ocean view which I was happy
with. I thought the food was very good particularly at the Red
Parrot (make your reservations right away). The beach was
beautiful and the bars were excellent. The pool could have been
better but we prefer the beach anyway so that was not such a big
deal. There is a nice snack bar serving panini and pizza which is
perfect for lunch if you don't want the buffet or late at night!
There is a casino within a very short walk that is a lot of fun.
You do have to get up early to get a hut, but the beach is so
beautiful and close to the rooms so that the days we didn't get
one it was fine. We had massages at the spa which were expensive
but well worth the price. You get reciprocal priviledges at the
neighboring Tamarjin resort, which was undergoing renovations when
we were there but should be very nice now. While you are in Aruba
- Flying Fishbone for dinner - a must!! Horseback riding at Rancho
del Campo, and Carlos and Charlie's
